What do you need to pack for a race?

Even after participating in several races, packing remains one of the most stressful tasks for me. I always have this fear of forgetting something crucial and realizing it when it’s already too late. To alleviate your worries and ensure peace of mind, I’ve created a packing list for you. You can download it as a PDF, print it out, and even customize it by adding any specific items you use. This way, you can be confident that you haven’t overlooked anything important.

Based on experience, I sort the items by importance for you.

The “Very Important” category includes items that you should pack first and are absolutely essential to have with you. These are items that you cannot afford to be without.

The “Important” category includes items that you may be able to purchase at the race venue or borrow from fellow triathletes if necessary. While it’s still recommended to bring these items, there may be some flexibility in obtaining them on-site.

Finally, the “Nice to Have” category includes items that are beneficial to bring along if you have enough space, but you should still be fine even if you don’t have them with you.
